Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the water, butter, brown sugar, and salt. Bring this mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, remove from the heat and stir in the flour all at once until combined and it forms a ball.
- Cook the mixture on low for about 1-2 minutes, stirring, until it pulls away from the sides of the pan.
Dough Preparation
- Let it cool slightly, then add in the vanilla and eggs one at a time, mixing until each is fully combined.
- Ensure the mixture is smooth and slightly glossy.
Shaping and Baking
- Scoop out tablespoon-sized lumps of dough and roll them into little balls.
- Place them on the prepared baking sheet, spaced out, and brush lightly with melted butter.
- Bake for about 18-20 minutes until golden and fragrant.
Finishing Touch
- As soon as they come out, roll the hot churro bites in your cinnamon sugar mixture.
