Preparation
- Spray both sides of your campfire pie iron with nonstick cooking spray.
- Take one slice of bread, and butter one side liberally. Lay that buttered side down on your pie iron. Spread your strawberry pie filling right on top.
- Dollop a few spoonfuls of whipped cream cheese over the pie filling.
- Butter one side of your second slice of bread and place it butter-side up on top of the fillings.
Cooking
- Close your campfire pie iron and place it over hot coals. Let it cook for about 1 to 1.5 minutes on each side.
- When the bread is golden brown and you can smell the aroma, it's ready!
Serving
- Carefully pull the pie off the fire, open the pie iron, and transfer your pudgy pie to a plate.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and ENJOY!

Notes
Best enjoyed fresh, store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days, or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in a toaster oven for optimal crispiness. Try swapping the strawberry filling for other fruity flavors.
