Base
  • 5 pieces apples (Gala, Honeycrisp, or Fuji recommended) Choose crisp and sweet varieties.
Toppings
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter Almond butter or other nut butters can also be used.
  • ¼ cup dairy-free chocolate chips Use your favorite chocolate chips.

Preparation
  1. Wash the apples well to remove any waxy residue.
  2. Slice the apples into thin rounds, slightly thicker than a quarter.
Assembly
  1. Arrange a single layer of apple slices on a plate.
  2. Drizzle half of the melted nut butter over the apples.
  3. Sprinkle the dairy-free chocolate chips evenly over the layer.
  4. Repeat the process with the remaining apples, nut butter, and chocolate chips.
  5. Serve immediately while the apples are still crisp.

Notes
