Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew) Choose your favorite!
  • 1 cup honey or maple syrup Select based on your sweet tooth.
  • 1 pinch salt
Optional Mix-Ins
  • 0.5 cup nuts or seeds Can include almonds, sunflower seeds, or walnuts.
  • 0.5 cup dried fruit Such as raisins, cranberries, or chopped apricots.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Mix Your Dry Ingredients: In a big bowl, combine rolled oats, nuts or seeds, and dried fruit.
  2. Melt the Good Stuff: In a small saucepan over low heat, melt honey or maple syrup with nut butter until smooth (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Add the Flavor Boosters: Off heat, stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  4. Get It All Together: Pour the gooey mixture over dry ingredients and mix until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Press and Set: Transfer the mixture into a greased or lined baking dish and press down firmly.
  6. Chill Time: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  7. Cut and Enjoy: Slice into bars and serve.
