Quick and healthy no bake cookie dough bars made with almond flour and sweetened with maple syrup, perfect for a satisfying dessert.

Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 1 cup almond flour or sub with oat flour for a different texture
  • ¼ cup maple syrup the real deal, please—no pancake syrup
  • ¼ cup almond butter or whatever nut butter tickles your fancy
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract this is where the magic happens
  • ¼ teaspoon salt to enhance all those yummy flavors
For the Sweet Surprise
  • ½ cup chocolate chips dark, semi-sweet, white—choose your own adventure here!

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, toss together almond flour, maple syrup, almond butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined and slightly sticky.
  2. Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  3. Press the mixture into a lined square baking dish, packing it down firmly.
  4. Cover and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Once firm, cut into squares and serve.

Notes
